About Web Clock

Web Clock is a free website for timing everyday tasks. Count down a few minutes, record workout laps or time several tasks at once, right in your browser. No download or account is required.

Set the time and start

The homepage shows the current time in digital, analog or flip styles. The Minute Timer has its own page, plus presets for 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 and 60 minutes.

Use a timer for a study session, several cooking steps, workout laps or a meeting slot. Web Clock puts the time display and controls first so you can get on with what you are doing.

Choose your timing tool

Sound and full screen

Sound settings in the header control alarms and timers across the site. Choose a sound, preview it and adjust the volume. Your choices stay in this browser; select Silent to turn off reminder sounds.

Use full-screen mode when a class, meeting room or workout partner needs to see the remaining time. The display puts the numbers first.

Timing and alerts run in the browser page. Keep the tab open and your device awake, and check the sound before starting. Background tabs, a locked screen or a sleeping device may delay updates or prevent alerts.

Keeping settings and records

Sound preferences and some tool configurations are stored in this browser and do not automatically sync between devices. Multiple timers retain their labels and set durations; start them manually when you return.

A stopwatch sharing link includes the elapsed time and lap data. Open it to view the record. Save the link or download CSV to keep your results; anyone with the link can also see the record it contains.
